Abstract

Ovarian hemangiomas are infrequent tumors with little bibliography about them. We present the case of a 52 years old woman with a pelvic mass discovered as an incidental finding after a routine examination. After performing imaging tests and tumor markers, we decided to complete the study at surgical level with the excision of the mass. In the postoperative histopathological examination, a tumor constituted by blood vessels and inmunohistochemically positive for CD31 and CD34 was observed, being labbeled of ovarian cavernous hemangioma.
